Where to go further?
  • Wrocław - Opole– 58 miles

- an old town which has a mediaeval network of streets with numerous recently renovated historical buildings. In the centre of the city, there is the Gothic cathedral, the Fransciscan Moanstery and Church, remnants of the city walls and bastions, the castle tower, and old buildings which house restaurants and cafes. There is also a beautiful Old Town Square with a huge City Hall built in the Florentine style of the Palazzo Vecchio. The most enchanting place is Opole Venice, located over the canal of Odra. In the open-air museum situated on the western side of Opole, many wooden country houses are exhibited. St. Anne’s Mount, close by, is known as a local pilgrimage destination. Many people go along the Stations of the Cross. It is recommended to stop in Brzeg Dolny on the way to Wrocław. Its castle, the pearl of Silesian Renaissance, and called the Silesian Wawel, is a real attraction.
